Job Details

The Finance Manager owns end-to-end financial performance for assigned regions or functions. This role serves as the primary finance business partner to operational and executive leadership, delivering accurate financials, clear narratives, and decision-ready insights.

The Finance Manager leads forecasting, budgeting, close, and performance management while driving analytical rigor, governance, and process improvement across the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Performance Management

  • Own the full financial cadence: Budget, Forecast, Month-End Close, MD&A, and “Make the Year” execution

  • Serve as the primary P&L owner, ensuring accuracy and consistent financial storytelling

  • Translate results into clear implications, risks, and decisions for Regional, Area, and Executive leadership

  • Identify margin, volume, and rate risks/opportunities; develop actionable plans

  • Establish and maintain KPI definitions, standards, and reporting cadence

  • Review and approve analyses before delivery to senior and executive leadership

 

Data Analysis & Financial Modeling

  • Own and maintain forecasting logic, scenario models, and ROI frameworks

  • Ensure analyses reflect operational reality, not just mathematical accuracy

  • Partner with Data, Operations, and IT to maintain source-of-truth datasets

  • Enforce governance across assumptions, version control, and documentation

  • Coach analysts to focus on insights, narrative, and recommendations

 

Stakeholder Communication & Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary finance liaison to business partners

  • Lead structured financial discussions that drive accountability and alignment

  • Simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences

  • Ensure consistency in financial messaging across all materials

  • Anticipate leadership questions and prepare proactive insights

  • Lead training on finance tools, models, and expectations

Process Improvement & Capability Development

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and financial excellence

  • Identify and address process gaps to improve scalability

  • Prioritize automation and repeatable solutions over manual work

  • Partner with FP&A leadership on team capability and development roadmaps

  • Build scalable processes to support growth and acquisitions

 

Growth & Strategic Support

  • Support ad hoc analyses (growth initiatives, de novos, acquisitions, compensation)

  • Partner with Finance Leadership to assess performance and efficiency

  • Support ELT reporting cadence (databooks, reforecasts, performance reviews)

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

  • Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience

  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguity and influence decisions

  • Strong prioritization and execution capabilities

  • Experience with process improvement, governance, and automation in FP&A

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance

  • MBA, Master’s, or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in finance management and/or director-level roles

Pay Range: $120,000 / salary
